IT'S SALE TIME!!!

I've decided to do a piece on sale styling today. Everyone always has that moment where they see a dress for £5 reduced from £50 and want to buy it just because it's sooo cheap!!! But then what do you do with it when you get home?
I've scoured the online sales to bring you my selection of best buys and how to style them...enjoy!

River Island
Green tube pencil skirt was £20, now £10 (only size 10 left!)

This is a great investment piece. Pair it with tights, boots and a cozy jumper for the colder months and pair it with sandals and a leotard or cropped t-shirt for the summer months. It's always good to look for pieces that you can wear year round as you really get your moneys worth!



Brown leopard print chain detail scarf was £13 now £3


Scarves like this are a great way to accessorise an outfit. I would wear it with a darker palette so it stands out, maybe a black vest dress and chunky knit cardigan, it would also work well with a knit jumper and the green skirt above.


Beige velvet lace cocktail jacket was £49.99 now £15 (sizes 8, 10 and 12 left)

I love how vintage this jacket looks and it's a great saving, it looks really designer and at that price it's a worthwhile investment! My immediate choice would be to wear this with black, but a navy blue, silver, emerald green or plummy red would also work well with this colour. Pair this with a cocktail dress or jumpsuit for a classic evening look.


Pink waistcoat was £40 now £20 (sizes 8, 10,12 and 16 left)

I am so in love with this I am still deciding whether to buy it or not! The colour is beautiful and it's a great way to spruce up formal wear. A wide legged jumpsuit would look good under this as would a short loose shift dress with bare legs and high heels.



Beige peep toe ankle boots was £64.99 now £20 (sizes 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 left)

The reason I chose these is because they're versatile year round. Wear them with wooly tights and layer with dresses, jumpers and scarves for winter time and the fabric of these boots means they work really well in the summer months with little summer dresses or tailored shorts.
